Some reports abound that the 2009 changes to V8 Supercar rules will include the controversial fuel E85 Ethanol. This fuel has an octane rating of 105RON so will be instrumental in the production of more power with correct tuning but at the expense of consumption. This will ensure at least one fuel stop in the proposed 200Klm x 2 race format days so should provide more excitement for race fans.

Coupe 60 celebrates the six decades since GM Holden built the 48-215 at its Fishermans Bend plant in Port Melbourne, Victoria, and provides a glimpse of Holden’s future directions in design, engineering and emerging engine technologies.

Australia’s GM Holden’s global design capability was showcased on the world stage when GMC took the covers off a stunning concept vehicle at the US 2008 Chicago Auto Show.

The GMC Denali XT was designed and constructed at GM Holden’s Australian design centre in Port Melbourne, Victoria. GMC drew upon General Motors’ global resources and expertise to produce the show stopper.
